Personal Manifesto
I choose things I can understand, repair, and live with for a long time. I value systems that reward attention instead of demanding constant upgrades. I prefer physical movement over enclosed convenience, and ownership over access. I don’t chase newness- I keep what works. Technology should feel legible, media should feel real, and life should have friction. If something lasts, I respect it. If it can be fixed, I keep it.
Rules I Live By
1. If I can’t fix it or learn how it works, I don’t fully trust it.
2. Physical media beats subscriptions.
3. Local files over cloud dependency.
4. Bikes before cars.
5. Old tech isn’t obsolete if it still does the job well.
6. Fewer things, chosen carefully.
7. Tools should show their wear.
8. Fashion should be functional first.
9. Silence and slowness are features, not flaws.
10. Convenience is only good when it doesn’t remove agency.
